Chuck LaMattina is Executive Vice President of Finance for Pegula Sports and Entertainment.  He is responsible for overseeing all PSE companies’ financial management and operations, as well as establishing and implementing corporate financial policies and controls, financial and tax reporting and long-range planning.

Chuck has extensive operational and financial experience in both the sports and entertainment businesses with over two decades of service with various organizations.

He was formerly the Corporate Controller with the Buffalo Sabres beginning in August 1997.  In this role, he was the company’s principal accounting contact, charged with ensuring disclosures and regulatory compliance remained timely, transparent and efficient.

Chuck rejoined the Sabres in 2004, after holding the position of Chief Financial Offer with DEMCO, Inc., where he became Director of Business Administration and eventually Vice President of Finance and Business Operations.

Prior to joining the Sabres, he worked in public accounting for a number of years, primarily with Freed Maxick CPAs.

Chuck earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in finance, while obtaining a CPA license.  He serves as treasurer of the Buffalo Sabres Foundation and Operation Backbone.  He is married (Susan) with two sons (Shawn and Alex) and resides in Williamsville, NY.
