Owned and operated by Black River Entertainment since 2010, the historic Sound Stage Studios has set a standard that legendary artists, musicians, and producers have appreciated since the late 1960s. The studio originally opened its doors in 1970 and has gone through a few owners as well as a few names since. At the time of opening, there had only been one studio, Front Stage, but eventually more space was needed to accommodate the demands of the industry for overdubbing and mixing. It was then that another studio, Back Stage, was added to the facility. With state-of-the-art studios available to the music community, many iconic artists, musicians, and producers spanning genres have frequented the space over the years. In 2017, Sound Stage Studios became the Nashville home of Spotify Singles Sessions.
